Five corporate responsibility learning and training options

Here's five learning and training products I am involved with at the moment that may be of interest:

1)
Birkbeck College, University of London, Executive Training Courses on Corporate Responsibility (Coming soon in 2013)

I'm developing a few CR course areas for Birkbeck. These are general executive education courses, over a long weekend (Friday-Sunday) and courses spaced out over a month or so (evening study).

I'm also looking into sector specific courses which we may run later in 2013.

If you'd like more info, just contact me on
Toby.Webb@stakeholderintel.com

Web pages and announcements on the first 2013 courses will be forthcoming.

2) Online Training Course in Corporate Responsibility: "Getting to Grips with CR" (from April 2013)

This is a general, online-only course that will offer a independent, critically rigorous overview of corporate responsibility. The course draws on practice by the leading companies in this field. It covers the key success factors that are globally relevant in a practical, no-nonsense way. More on the course, and how to sign up are here.
3) Executive Leadership Retreats: Business Sustainability, Your role and how to drive change to embed strategy

The programme has been designed specifically for Chief Sustainability Officers, Heads of Corporate Responsibility (CR) and Sustainability and others specifically leading CR/sustainability in large companies.

This will be held twice a year, in May and September, in Crete, Greece. Information on the first one, to be held on May 23-26 in a sustainable mountaintop training centre on western Crete, can be found at this link.

4) Ethical Corporation conferences - Best practices in CR management generally and specifically.

Some of the London-based, all new events featuring full interactivity and no PowerPoint, are these:

How to manage social and environmental risk for oil, gas and mining 2013

The Responsible Business Summit 2013

The Ethical Corporation Awards 2013

More information and the latest speaker line up's can be found here.

5) Tailored workshops - Strategy, Governance, Communications, Stakeholder engagement

These on-demand workshops, tailored to specific groups and honed all over the world with groups of executives, are listed on my blog on the lower right hand side at: http://tobywebb.blogspot.co.uk

Here's a few specific ones:

Training Buyers, Supply Chain Executives and Procurement Teams

Engaging with NGOs and Campaign Groups

Introduction to CSR and the Business Case

Corporate Responsibility, and Crisis Communications Management

I'd be interested to know which of these readers find compelling, whether you'd like to be involved, and any other ideas on training, learning and professional development you might have.
